About the college

The establishment of the college: The college was established in the same year in which the university was established, on the twenty-fifth of the third month of the year 1381 AH, by Royal Decree No. (11), according to which the statute of the Islamic University was ratified. , and secondary, and the higher section is the first nucleus of the college, which later bore the name (College of Sharia). The study began on 2/6/1381 AH with a number of (85 students), and the number of its students at the present time exceeds 7,500 students.

The college was established in the same year in which the university was established on the twenty-fifth of the third month of the year 1381 of the honorable migration, by Royal Decree No. (11) according to which the basic system of the Islamic University was ratified, as the basic system included in its seventh article that the university consists of two departments, higher and secondary, The higher department is the first nucleus of the college, which later bore the name (College of Sharia). The study began on 2/6/1381 AH with a number of (85 students), and the number of its students at the present time exceeds 7,500 students.

The College of Sharia is committed to graduating specialists in Islamic Sharia and its sciences, who are qualified to meet the requirements of the local and international labor markets, produce specialized international scientific research, and provide community services in the field of Islamic Sharia according to the methodology of the Sunnis and the Community.

Objectives of the College of Sharia:

1- Preparing specialists in Sharia sciences who are qualified for scientific research and serving the local and international community.

2- Developing the jurisprudence skills of students

3- Rehabilitation of a group of Muslim children who are scholarship students. 

4- Linking theoretical knowledge with its practical applications, while taking care of emerging issues and contemporary issues.

5- Developing the appropriate expertise of the teaching staff and developing their qualifications to ensure that they remain aware of developments in the fields of specialization in a way that enhances knowledge activity and scientific research. 

6- Consolidating the method of moderation and moderation, and taking into account disagreement. 

7- Contribute to fulfilling the needs of society in the various fields of specialization. 

8- Contributing to the dissemination of legal knowledge among the members of society, including what immunizes it intellectually and behaviorally.

9- Contribute to achieving the vision, mission and goals of the university.
