The theoretical part : Presents the basics of chemistry, which can be described according to the following topics: Matter: definition and classification, atoms, molecules and ions. Weight relationships in chemical reactions. Water interactions: characteristics and types. Gases: definition, properties and laws; Thermochemistry. Electronic structure of the atom. The periodic table: properties of elements and bonding: definition, types and properties. practical part : It presents laboratory safety rules and some practical experiments (detecting acid radicals and preparing solutions), which enhance understanding of some of the basic chemical concepts learned in the theoretical part of the course.
